How do I contact you? I joined several years ago and have constantly had issues with the site. I paid for the Paint Personalities and can not go back and replay. Is that not possible? If it is, how do I do it? This is getting very frustrating. I am 73 and not that tech savvy but, do want to see what I paid for because I very much want to learn

1. My travel pouch of assorted pens and pencils

2. A large stack of multi-media paper or watercolor paper

3. Derwent inktense pencils

I like using watercolor ground and acrylic ground for pastel on mixed media pieces or on panels when I want to use acrylic inks or other water media as one or more layers on a piece.

Sorry, didn’t address your second question…I use a piece of scrap paper (usually the back of a painting that didn’t work out) and swatch out the values.

So I’d try adding more water to my base color on one row (first little square pure color paint, second square add a bit of water, third more water, etc.). Then maybe I’d do a row by adding…

I find importing my photos into a Value app helps. I use “See Value”, but there are several out there. It let’s me choose between 2 and 4 value ranges (turns them into gray scale). Hopes that helps!

Hi Ten, From what I gather you can take a color photo of your cat and turn it to gray in your photo app. You should be able to paint your picture that way. I don’t know for sure because my hands hurts before I can finish a picture. I get frustrated and never go back to my pictures.
